As part of Mental Health Awareness Week, local women’s charity Her-Place Charitable Trust has been at the heart of the community, championing this year’s theme: “Community: Being part of a safe, positive community is vital for our mental health and wellbeing.”
At Her-Place Charitable Trust we deliver a range of events, conversations, and community gatherings that underline the core of what the charity is all about—creating safe spaces, building supportive relationships, and promoting the mental and emotional wellbeing of women across Cheshire and surrounding areas.
From creative workshops and wellbeing walks to peer support meetups and guest speakers, every activity is designed to bring women together, spark conversation, and remind them they are not alone. The sense of togetherness was felt deeply at each event, reinforcing the power of connection in nurturing mental health.
“At Her-Place, everything we do is centred around supporting women’s mental health and wellbeing,” Kate CEO stated “We know that being part of a safe, understanding community can be life-changing. It provides the foundation for healing, for growing confidence, and for building hope.”
The charity’s initiatives are rooted in empowerment and inclusivity, welcoming women of all ages and backgrounds to join a community where they are heard, supported, and valued. Whether through counselling referrals, confidence-building sessions, social activities, or simply a cup of tea and a chat, Her-Place consistently puts women’s wellbeing first.
This Mental Health Awareness Week, Her-Place has not only raised awareness—they have lived the message. By bringing women together, fostering friendship, and building resilience through community, they have shown exactly why positive connection is vital for mental health.
