During Maternal Mental Health Week, Her-Place Charitable Trust is standing firmly with mothers everywhere, championing this year’s theme: “Your Voice, Your Strength.”
Her-Place recognises the power of listening to and empowering mums—especially those who feel isolated, unheard, or unsupported. The charity offers a range of compassionate, practical, and therapeutic support to ensure no mother feels alone in her journey.
“We believe every mother’s voice matters,” says Kate , CEO] at Her-Place. “Whether it’s seeking help, sharing her story, or simply being seen and heard—there’s strength in speaking out, and we’re here to listen.”
Her-Place’s services include:
- A Baby Bank, providing essential items to families facing financial hardship. From nappies and clothing to equipment and toiletries, the baby bank helps to relieve practical stress for new mums.
- Therapeutic Programmes specifically designed for postnatal mothers, offering emotional support, self-care strategies, and safe spaces to connect with others who understand.
- The Believe Project, a powerful initiative supporting mothers who rarely feel their voices are heard. This project gives mums a platform to share experiences, rebuild confidence, and develop pathways to brighter futures.
Maternal Mental Health Week is a national campaign to raise awareness about the challenges new and expectant mums face, and Her-Place is leading the way in providing local, accessible support tailored to those needs.
For mothers struggling with anxiety, low mood, identity changes, or loneliness—Her-Place is a safe and welcoming community where voices are not only heard but celebrated.
