A new Walking Netball programme is launching in Crewe, offering women of all ages and abilities a fun and social way to get active. Organised by Her-Place Charity, in partnership with Netball GB. The first session starts off at Crewe Lifestyle Centre on 21st May 2025, starting at 6:30 PM with a series of special guest speaker to inspire and motivate attendees.
Walking Netball is a slower version of the traditional game, designed to be inclusive and accessible—ideal for those who may be returning to fitness, recovering from injury, or simply looking to meet new people and enjoy gentle physical activity.
The launch event will begin with a short talk from a guest speaker (to be announced), before participants get a chance to try out the game in a relaxed, friendly environment. No previous experience or equipment is needed—just come in comfortable clothes and get ready to move and laugh.
Her-Place Charity is dedicated to supporting women’s wellbeing, confidence, and community connection. This new Walking Netball initiative is part of their ongoing commitment to empowering women through activity and support.
