We’re delighted to launch our Summer of Fun! Four weeks of free community events designed to bring people together, celebrate our community and showcase the support available through our Community Hub in Winsford.
Throughout the summer, we’ll be hosting a range of free family activities, including arts and crafts, a family sports day, a healthy eating workshop, and an exciiting Community Fun Day packed with games and activities for all ages.
Our Community Fun Day will feature visits from Cheshire Police and Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service, alongside an ice cream van, children’s activities and a fantastic range of local organisations, giving families the opportunity to connect with services and discover what’s available in their community.
Our Community Hub in Winsford, made possible through the support of Weaver Vale Housing Trust, provides a welcoming, safe space for women and girls. From our community launderette and wellbeing groups to practical support, community activities and opportunities to connect with others, we’re proud to offer services that help improve wellbeing and reduce isolation.
The Summer of Fun is all about bringing our community together, helping families create lasting memories and introducing more people to the support available at Her-Place.
A member of the Her-Place team said:
“We’re so excited to welcome everyone to our Summer of Fun. We wanted to create something that brings families together and helps people discover everything our Community Hub has to offer. Whether you’re joining us for one event or all four weeks, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. We’d also like to thank Weaver Vale Housing Trust for providing our Community Hub, which enables us to continue supporting women and girls across Winsford. We can’t wait to welcome everyone along for a fantastic summer.”
All events are completely free, open to the whole community and everyone is welcome.
