Her Place is delighted to announce the launch of a new Walking Netball programme as part of its Active Her project, designed to empower and inspire women across Cheshire.
The programme, funded by Sport England and supported by Active Cheshire, is open to all women aged 18 and over, with young women aged 13+ welcome to join if accompanied by an adult. No previous netball experience is required, and the sessions are completely free to attend.
The weekly sessions will run on Wednesday evenings, 6:30pm – 8:30pm, from 1st October to 19th November 2025 at Crewe Lifestyle Centre (CW1 2BB).
Each evening will include:
- 6:30pm – 7:30pm: Walking Netball session led by a trained coach.
- 7:30pm – 8:30pm: Guest speaker seminar, covering inspiring topics linked to NETBALLHer and women’s wellbeing.
“Walking Netball is about fun, friendship, and fitness at a pace that suits everyone. Whether you’re looking to get active, meet new people, or just try something different, you’ll be warmly welcomed,” Kate Blakemore stated.
