Service of Remembrance to Support Families Affected by Infant Loss

A special Service of Remembrance for families affected by infant loss will take place at
Wistaston St Mary’s Church on Sunday 5th October at 5pm.
The annual service provides a safe and supportive space for families and loved ones to
come together, remember their babies, and honour their memory. For those unable to attend
in person, the service will also be live streamed via YouTube. Viewers can join through the
direct link youtube.com/live/tBf3dwo-H48 or by using the shorter link
bit.ly/infantlossservice2025.
As part of this year’s service, a new shared grave stone will also be showcased. This will
provide a meaningful and permanent place for families to visit, reflect, and find comfort in
their grief.
Alongside the remembrance service, Her- Place Charitable Trust offers a range of ongoing
support for women who have experienced loss through their Cherry Blossom Infant Loss
Service including counselling and peer support groups. These services are designed to
provide compassionate, trauma-informed support in a safe environment.
