SafeHer Crewe

The Safe Her campaign by Her Place Charitable Trust is dedicated to creating safer, more inclusive communities for women and girls by working collaboratively with local councils, businesses, and community partners. Through this initiative, Her Place is supporting towns to take practical action to address violence against women and girls, raise awareness, and promote a culture of respect and safety for all.
Working closely with town councils, the campaign aligns with the White Ribbon movement, encouraging organisations and community leaders to take a stand against gender-based violence and commit to long-term cultural change.
Our first partnership is with Crewe Town Council, where we are working alongside Crewe BID and Aviva Trains to promote and create safe spaces across the town. Together, we are engaging local businesses, transport providers, and community venues to become visibly safe and supportive environments — places where women and girls feel confident, protected, and valued.
The Safe Her campaign represents a growing network of towns and partners committed to making public spaces safer and ensuring that every woman and girl can live free from fear and harassment.
